Since its establishment in 1947, Company B in Saitama Prefecture has contributed to the local community through machining and assembly technology for automotive parts. We would like to introduce a case study where they adopted the coolant "Master Cool" for machining difficult-to-cut materials. In end mill machining of heat-resistant difficult-to-cut material SUS430, the tool life was shorter compared to machining other materials, leading to the use of coolant at a high concentration. To address the challenges of machining difficult-to-cut materials that require higher processing technology, they adopted a coolant specifically designed for such materials. After adoption, they successfully reduced the coolant supply amount and improved the working environment.
